SALT

SALT BY ANAMIKA

The poem begins by explaining the feelings of both men and women. The story emphasizes the importance of emotion in everyone’s life on the earth. Emotion, as opposed to cognitive and volitional states of consciousness, can be characterized as an emotional state of consciousness in which joy, grief, fear, hate, or the like is felt. Anamika’s poem ‘Salt’ explores the varied qualities of salt for women, men, and the Earth. She claims that salt is both grief and the earth’s flavor. She’s suggesting that salt has two sides. It has both a favorable and unfavorable aspect. She believes that salt will always be present on the globe.

She says that women’s emotions are obvious on their faces. Women’s faces, she claims, are plastered in salt, making them appear frail and sickly. Anamika says that salt represents men’s hearts. She claims that men are more likely to suppress their emotions. She claims that men do not express their emotions until they reach a mature size, similar to that of a mountain. She also portrays men’s struggle with not expressing their feelings.

Childhood In The Path of Typhoon

We all know that the Philippines is prone to typhoons and other natural disasters due to its geographic location in the typhoon belt. We Filipinos are unprepared to deal with it. Numerous typhoons have hit the Philippines, claiming many lives and destroying many homes.

Childhood in the Path of Typhoons is written by Cecilia Brainard, a great writer in the Philippines. According to the account, we encountered several types of typhoons, many Filipinos died as a result, and their homes were devastated. Some Filipinos have been displaced as a result of the typhoon, and streets may be flooded as a result of the heavy rain.

When a storm approaches, it implies there will be more rain and wind, so pupils will be excused from class to ensure their safety. The hurricane has wrecked some people’s farming and left them without food.

In this topic, we learn to be prepared, receptive, and ready at all times, not just for disasters, but also for the environment in which we’ve always been our safe haven. And to keep you safe, stay away from the tallest trees. She wrote this to raise awareness among all Filipinos about the situation that has been occurring since then.
